COMPANY

Caccia has been engineering and manufacturing plastic processing machinery for over 50 years, in a constant effort of improving quality and researching new technical solutions. Headquarters are located on a total area of 10000 sq. mt. covered by factories and officies.


PRODUCTS

Caccia's installations are used in plastic/chemical industry covering two different production range:

  • rotomoulding division

ROTATIONAL MOULDING MACHINES FOR PLASTIC HOLLOW ITEMS AND FOR PRODUCTION OF:

Rotational moulding technological process:

  1. Loading of plastic material into a hollow mould and closing of the mould;

  2. Planetary rotation of the mould in oven at high temperature, with:
    - fusion and uniform distribution, on the inner layer of the mould, of all plastic
       introduced material;
    - moulding of an hollow-body piece with shape that is exactly the same like the  inner one of the mould;

  3. Mould cooling with air/water;

  4. Mould open to remove the moulded piece.

Plastic materials normally used:

  • PE powder (350-500 micron)

  • PVC PLASTISOL

  • PA


  • turbomixer division

Complete plants for preparing PVC compounds and mixing of thermoplastic resins

Turbomixers with capacity from 200 up to 1500 Lt. and Coolers PVC powder compound preparation with capacity from 500 up to 6000 Lt.

PVC mixes are used in powder or later turned in granules for the further working with extrusion plants, injection, etc.

They are designated for production of pipes, pipes connectors, profiles sheets, film, medical articles, etc.

 

WORKING TECHNOLOGY
In the turbomixer is introduced a PVC powder together with other solid or liquid additives.
A high-speed rotation blade, driven by a high power motor, is mixing powders heating it up to reach a temperature of 110-130C in 10-15 minutes.
At the end of the stated cycle, the compound will go into a cooler (usually a slower and horizontal model) that, due to the thermal exchange, will cool it up to reach a temperature of 40-50C.
The homogenizing of all components and their hot permeation produces a "compound", ready for following transformations (direct use in extrusion of transformation in granules for injection machines, etc.).
